Global payments – local service STEP 1
Download & upload Go to and click on the webshop
modules tab. Click on OpenCart and download the module.
Select the downloaded file and upzip it. Start your FTP client and establish a connection.
Select the contents of the upload folder and upload it to the server. STEP 2
Configure & connect Log into the OpenCart admin control panel.
Click on Extensions and select Payments from the drop-down menu.
Click on Install in the same row as the ICEPAY logo, then select Edit.
Go to and log into your ICEPAY account.
Select My websites and click on Create to add a new website.
Enter a Website name and copy the URLs of the Thank You, Error and Postback page from
your OpenCart admin page. Select your desired payment methods. For this
tutorial, we will only choose payment via iDeal.
Select Edit website and copy the Merchant ID and the SecretCode to your OpenCart admin
page. Click on Statuscodes and select the Recommended
option for each status. Click on Appearance and select whether to
show the ICEPAY logo and type a description to be displayed in the checkout screen.
Click on Save. You are now ready for step 3! STEP 3
Test payment In a new tab or window, go to your OpenCart
webshop. Click on Add to Cart below any product. Go to the Shopping Cart and click on the Checkout
button. Select Guest Checkout and fill in your billing
details, then choose your payment method and confirm your order.
In the iDeal screen, select your bank and follow the steps as required.
After confirmation, you should see this Thank You page. Click on Continue and check your
e-mail. You have completed integrating ICEPAY into
your OpenCart webshop! ICEPAY
